Balticovo opens residential building for company employees

Rapidly growing and expanding its operations, the largest egg and egg product producer in the Baltics, AS "Balticovo", solemnly opened a new residential building for employees in Iecava, Raiņa Street 2A. The project, valued at over two million euros, has resulted in a modern apartment building where approximately 120 Balticovo employees and their families will be able to live in the future. The opening event was attended by the Ministers of Welfare and Climate and Energy, the Chairman of Bauska Municipality, cooperation partners, and company employees.

In recent years, the company has significantly expanded production and created new jobs, which is why the ability to attract specialists not only from Zemgale but also from other regions of Latvia is becoming increasingly important. As AS "Balticovo" Chairman of the Board Vladimirs Mhitarjans noted at the opening event, “the residential building project is not a coincidence, but a natural development of the company and an investment in the well-being of its employees.”

"Company development is usually measured by investments, production volumes, or export figures. However, behind each of these numbers are people. Therefore, alongside investments in production, we also invest in the quality of life of our employees. The new residential building will help attract specialists from various regions of Latvia and at the same time create a safe and modern environment for our colleagues and their families," says Toms Auškāps, AS "Balticovo" Head of Communications and Development.

The residential building was created by reconstructing a building whose construction began during the Soviet era, but was never completed. After extensive reconstruction, the building has been transformed into a modern residential building with comfortable and equipped apartments, fully adapted to modern requirements.
